As human beings, we are constantly creating representations of ourselves on the internet, social media, and in real life.
Through images, it becomes possible not only to construct scenes but also to shape entirely new identities. In this way, people can continuously reinvent and present themselves.
This manipulability was visualized through a video projection of a video of a face onto a physical face, using the body as a canvas for one of these created personas. By making a paper mold of the physical face and separating it from the original, the ‘self’ was transformed into an artificial object.
This exploration raises a critical question: when there are so many versions of a personality, do others believe in its authenticity?
