These contact sheets present fragments of non-existent lives. The source material comes from AI platforms, where anonymous users generate endless images without ownership or permanence. I collected and rephotographed them, passing them through the full analog process of manually shooting, developing, and printing.



In trying to construct reality, I discovered that perfection felt uncanny. The images only began to appear real once I introduced what analog photography naturally produces: accidents, coincidences, disruptions. Camera malfunctions, uneven exposures or irregularities in printing, imperfections that cannot be scripted by a machine.
By faking these flaws, the individual images gain a sense of reality, as though they coherently belong to an actual lived moment. The contact sheets, handprinted on baryta paper and framed with a black wooden frame and museum glass, become documents of something that never truly happened, yet now feels strangely familiar.
